New for this season, the Ski Club of Great Britain have teamed up with Scott Skis to run two days of Ski Club Leading and ski testing at Glenshee and Cairngorm Mountain in Scotland this month. It’s the first time the Ski Club have offers their Leading service on home soil.
Mountain enthusiasts will be given the chance to ski with Ski Club Leaders and other like minded people whilst at the same time testing next season’s Scott Skis.

The Ski Club and Scott will also be joined by expert staff from Braemar Mountain Sports who will have ski mountaineering kit for testing, including ski boots and skins. Freeze Pro Shop will also be at Glenshee to give freestyle guidance in the new Glenshee Freestyle Park.
“For the first time we are taking our worldwide Ski Club Leading service to Scotland. This will give domestic skiers and snowboarders the chance to be shown around the resort and also to meet up with other members and snow lovers. For skiers, they have the bonus of being able to test skis that aren’t even on the market yet, and that doesn’t happen very often!” said Simon Henwood, Head of Resort Operations at the Ski Club of Great Britain

The Ski Club Leading/ Scott ski testing days will take place on Saturday 12th March at Glenshee and Sunday 13th March at Cairngorm. At Glenshee the meeting point will be at the Base Cafe and at Cairngorm the meeting point is at Cas Bar at Coire Cas car. Both days start at 10am and are weather dependant. Leaders will be in their blue Ski Club jackets. Ski Club members will get a 10% discount on lift tickets on production of a Ski Club membership card.

To sign up email leaders@skiclub.co.uk and entitle the email ‘Register for Glenshee/Cairngorm Leading Day’. Non-members are welcome to try the Ski Club Leading service for free.
