VIP SKI to open first St Anton hotel.
14 June 2012
Specialist ski company VIP SKI has announced that it will be opening a new hotel in
one of the world’s top resorts, St Anton in Austria, for the 2012/13 season.
It’s the very first time VIP SKI (www.vip-chalets.com) has featured this
classic resort and indeed marks their first entry into the Austrian Alps.
The stylish Hotel Montjola, the second hotel to join the company’s
portfolio, is currently undergoing a total overhaul by a team of interior
designers to give the hotel what the company describes as, “…that special VIP
twist.”
VIP intend to retain a little bit of classic Tyrolean charm and to
dress the contemporary comfort of flat screen TVs, sound docks and signature
hot tubs to compliment the historic hotel which was built in 1932.
The hotel has 33 spacious bedrooms and offers an enviable location with
magnificent views of St Anton, the mountains and the pistes from many of the
terraces and balconies around the property. Following VIP SKI’s transformation,
the hotel will sleep a maximum of 80 guests with a mix of double, twin, triple
and Austrian twin bedrooms.
The hotel is a five minute walk to the main Galzig lift, close enough
to the buzz of village life yet perfectly secluded from the action of the party
capital of the Alps.
All the classic hallmark touches of a VIP SKI experience will be offered including welcome drinks and mouth-watering canapés, seven days cooked
breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal with wine included, a bar serving
drinks & coffee, a sauna, steam room and massage suite and a new wraparound
outdoor hot tub.
A complimentary ski hosting service will be available to assist skiers
on finding the best way to get around the vast array of slopes as well as an
eight ’til eight Chauffeur service to bring guests back up the hill at the end
of the day. Two nannies will also be on hand to help make a family holiday more
enjoyable and can help with the children’s needs.
“We have been toying with the idea of finding an appropriate property in Austria for the past three years,
with St Anton high on the list of preferred resorts,” said Andy Sturt, Managing
Director of VIP SKI.
“We decided to select the historic Hotel Montjola because we are able
to refurbish the property to the VIP SKI standard and due to its magnificent
situation it is the ideal property.”
